7:00PM - your certification record must show '10' or later
for both Referee and S&T in order to attend
this clinic!
The following clinics will offer certification for Stroke and
Turn, Starter or Referee
- Sunday, June 3, Olney Swim Center 8:00AM
- Monday, June 4, Hanley Center Multipurpose
Room, Georgetown Prep, 6:00PM (park in Blue Lot behind the Hanley
Center and enter through the main doors, do not enter through the
pool)
- Sunday, June 10, Olney Swim Center, 8:00AM
Stroke and Turn ONLY clinic
Tuesday, June 19, Germantown Indoor Swim Center at
7:00PM.
2012 MCSL
Division J
Our club is a Montgomery County Swim
League (MCSL) summer recreational competitive
swim team, Division J. We offer high quality coaching and
technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our
team is to provide every swimmer an opportunity to improve swimming
skills and achieve success to the best of their
ability.
This team was founded in 1988 by Mark
Schoenfelder. Mark is now an age group coach for the
Curl-Burke year round swim team in Maryland.
The Piranhas are lead by Head Coach Megan
Giroux and Assistant Coaches Kevin Giessing, and Anthony Maletta.
All of these coaches were previous MCSL swim team members
themselves. The Piranhas Swim Team is run by a volunteer
executive committee comprised of parents. This team accepts all age
groups from 5-18 years old. Our youngest members are mentored
by the older swimmers and are an integral part of this team.
Every age group is given individual attention by all the
coaches and are encouraged to swim to their top
potential.
